It rained all day yesterday. About 2 - 4 inches of rqain fell during this storm. Stopped in the evening. Partly cloudy this morning, rain ecxpected this evening through tomorrow with possibility of even more rainfall than previous storms.
Started raining at noon. Still raining pretty good. Snow on the Grapevine. CHP doing escorts through the pass. It's pretty chilly outside, slight wind.
January 22/23 Cloudy last night, rained from 5pm - 7pm. Cloudy, no rain overnight. Santa Clarita cloudy, valley clearing. Rain expected this afternoon, heavy at times.
Last night he clouds gathered and it rained for a few hours. More drizzle than rain. Cleared to partly cloudy, and I woke up to rain. It rained for about two hours 5am - 7:30am and has sinced stopped. Still cloudy. Chance of rain all week.
And windy as hell. It's probably 55 degrees out there, and the wind makes it feel a lot colder. Chance of rain on Sunday. But they don't really know whats going on. So we'll see.
I created this journal to track the weather in my area. I am going to attempt to post everyday, whether there is a change or not. It is windier than hell out today. Not the usual Santa Ana winds either, these are cold winds coming from the north. Thanks San Francisco. No rain in the forecast for the week. Boo. The grass is trying to rear their green pointy little heads, but if all thiswind continues they will shrivel up and die.
